Former Princeton Coach Pete Carril diagrams and demonstrates the intricasies of the Princeton Backdoor Offense. Coach Carril has two basic principles, the player in front of you tells you where to go; and if you are overplayed, go backdoor. He takes these to principles and builds a half-court offense that relies on passing, dribbling, and shooting. The offense revolves around the ability of the center from the low and high posts positions. Each cut has several reads and options, including backdoor cuts, three-points shots, and drive and pitches. This is a difficult offense to master, but poetry in motion when run correctly. Running Time: 76 Minutes. 1998.
